I loved every second of this, the villain's reason to do those to the empire is very very understandable, as well as the first emperor's reason for dealing with the mages. He had bee hoodwinked hence forgetting that he did all of those for his love, Eva.
I love how Regina didn't forget the reason she transgressed and pushed through the end and even walked away from the Empire and come back. Love how it also didn't focus solely on their love story and how the ML didn't stop Regina on leaving the empire, a green flag!
At last, I still.. really do feel sorry about Eva. All she did was love and she was betrayed and stabbed in the back and all she ever wanted was an apology. It hurts how she stopped every evil plan bcs of the first emperor's apology. She's truly a push over, I feel sorry for her, she's too kind. I wish if she ever reincarnates or something, she'll be happy with someone who'll truly love and protect her.

So I've been looking out for the comments here since I already finished the novel of this after being put on cliffhanger back in 2023 (and lemme tell u the next chapters until the end is going to be crazy good that I finished all 900 chapters in like a month and a half). I'll see this manhwa in another 5 yrs or so after it's complete. But it's legit one of the BEST novels I have ever read, I got attached to all the characters, the twists, the lore, and ofc our Cale. I love him so much you can't imagine that after I read the novel I felt empty about having finished it and contemplated to bang my head to have an amnesia to read it again just like after I finished reading one piece and have to wait for another chapter. ANYWAYS, it's been 4 years that I have first encountered this manhwa and finished reading the novel, Cale and the gang are precious to me and I am forever grateful for the author for making such a great story. Made me want to reincarnate into the novel and just watch all of their shenanigans.
Also, if anyone has read a similar story like this please let me know. I mean aside from orv and that other one with the blonde guy.
Please give The s-classes that ive raised a try! As someone who also have been following the novel ver of totcf since 2022 I would recommend The s classes that I raised for something similar! I suggest reading the manhwa ver instead of the novel tho as the manhwa is more enjoyable imo…either way it’s really good! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Sorry, yeah that was what I meant. The sequel too, I'm marinating it before reading it back again or if I forget the whole plot (which in my case will take years) so I could experience the whole thing again.
I totally get you. this is the first novel with chapters over a hundred that I've read without getting bored, and also one where I can still remember the names of every characters even after years. rereading this reminds me of the late pandemic days, tbh.
that said, have you tried lotm(lord of the mysteries)? like you, I've also read orv and tsctir, and I'm enjoying reading lotm these days. the world building might come as slow, but it's actually a good read. hope you also give it a try ><

Saw this while I just finished watching record of ragnarok and why to say I was shocked is an understatement, I've had my days if reading fucked up yaois like these but I seem to still be shocked when I read another one.
It's a good read if you just out aside your views as a religious person and think of it as just a 'cultural' read lmao. Was shocked at the old english part but it made sense since the setting was from wayy back and loved how corrupted they are lmaoo, even the younger guy. Imagine seeing the priest getting pounded mid air and u not seeing who's the one pounding him, also I really think it's a demon who can shape shift into his prey's most heinous desires bcs the demon asked who he was seeing (what his appearance was to the human) so likee the priest was nasty nasty too bcs wdym you saw your god i mean good for u??? But damnnnnnn
