Tora: Its dangerous if its just sleeping. Killing it would be safer.
Me: Yes! Tora. You are absolutely right. I can't believed that the MC didn't think of
this. The chicken were mindless monster that kill and eat on kids. What makes you think
that killing them back is wrong.
I don't get why the mangaka made the vibe on the last panel (chap 6) seems like Tora
gone to the dark side. What he did is just ensuring that they survive longer. its either you
kill them or get kill by them.

i think it happens more on the supporting cast, where the mc trusts them but they do something behind his back.
but that's just what i can foresee in his character, his type seems to be the dangerous ones the mc has to watch out for, with consideration of the mc's contrasting optimistic self-sacrificing personality. though the freckled guy seems to be the scaredycat who would be overcome with fear and sacrifice others in response to his survival instinct.
also who knows? maybe the mc will also realize that his optimistic naivete will not be enough to make his 'family' survive. maybe he too would go join the dark side. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I actually think that the scaredy-cat will eventually throw some kid off just to save himself. And the guy who killed the chicken will eventually die trying to save them.
Plus I don't like the Mc's attitude, he's doing all of those things like he's some sort of hero. Its just like that guy in the goldfish eating man manga said. "Being a protagonist doesn't save you from getting killed, its about luck and determination."
And im a little sick fuck so I think all of his family would die (And maybe that one kid will dissapear) so the protagonist will go beserk and kill every single one of the titan- I mean chickens so yeah, I think he will join the dark side, or maybe yet. It was inside him all along and his happy go lucky attitude was just a facade to hide his depression and rage.

noooo i want an almost-impossibly optimistic ending where at least they would mostly survive and the mc still has his old personality but now with a more mature and realistic view (/TДT)/
though i think that if one of the kids die (especially that one main kid) in front of his eyes, he would break Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

This gonna be a very unpopular opinion on my part and please don't attack me for voicing this. I think that both chiho and shu parent are irresponsible by just dumping chiho on shu without any warning. In chap 1, upon coming home, shu found that there is an unknown girl inside the house - He never even meet her before!
I''m sure they're both nice ladies but I think if you're gonna entrust a kindergarten to a high school student at the very least you should have tell him about it. And for a very long time too! we are not talking about babysitting a child for few hours but a freaking 3 months long!
Shu was given piles of how-to step-by-step instructions written on papers to help him but that will only be a small help on his part. If this method really work, then everybody can just print similar instructions from internet and be a babysitter.

Right! what if shu decided to celebrate the beginning of holiday with his friend and come home really late (even if it is the same day). I really don't think that leaving a child alone at home for few hours is safe. I have a soon-to-be two year old nephew, if you let him play alone, he will go around exploring the house, the kitchen etc. One time I caught him trying to turn on the gas!
Some may argue that chiho knew better than that but chiho is still a child.
Random canon fodder came out of nowhere bypassing multiple chicken without any scratch and demanding for the kids. And MC treat the situation like its an ordinary scuffles with everyday delinquent.
Just kick him out of the house and chicken will take care of him. He's already nice enough to deliver himself to your doorstep and offer some advice. Why not use him to test his own medicine.
The MC need to be less nicer . Don't get me wrong. I hate MC who randomly kill, manipulative, racist, sexist, refuse to help when they are more than capable of lending their strength, putting up unfair term and and conditions to every single help, etc. But MC who still want to retain their naivety after the whole turn upside down is not gonna do it either.
The whole world change so like it or not the MC has to change too. Refusing to kill the chicken who used to be the orphanage principle. Nope. Refusing to get rid of the punk that ready to kill your family to save himself. Think again.
I kinda want Tora to kill that guy. (Since the MC obviously can't)
