It seems only implied with a "the end" at the end of the chapter. There is a possibility that this is either a prequel or some error (the end of the chapter vs the end of the story). The scanlators said they were unsure and would keep their eyes and ears open for the possibility of the manga continuing
It does happen occasionally. A mangaka has a really successful one shot, builds a fanbase, and the story brings a profit that convinces the publisher more chapters is in order.
Just look at his smile after Shin figured things out, he clearly support Shin and Micchan together, albeit in his own twisted way

Anyone else look at the RAW? Tell me please,do Yoshinaga and Hasegawa end up together? Or at least interested at each other altready at the end of vol 1? It looks kinda complicated now, Yoshinaga likes the glasses guy and Hasegawa has a girlfriend already, right? I wonder how and if they will end up together??

I'm glad the manga ends like we all predicted, but I think it might be better if the mangaka didn't put the hints here n there? Because the ending will be more unpredictable n it feels more dramatic that way
But this would be more like a deus ex machina. A forced happy ending without any hints and by the way i liked guessing if he was a real human.
Hmm.. you're right, it's just the story didn't feel that exciting for me because it was very obvious Ichi was a real human. You know, like the feeling when we accidentally read spoilers and it takes away some fun from reading. But overall it was a nice story and I love the art!
