honestly i despise guy in chapter 53. i hate when people do bad things to others just to get people to notice them idc about the backstory
If you have read carefully like I did you'll understand that's not what's being said here though. I am really wishing people will start to understand that there is a difference between believing a 'sad backstory' is an excuse to wave away the deliberately sh!tty behavior any person ever perpetrated and comprehending when a 'sad backstory' explains the lack of intent behind said behavior.. (Because, if they do, they will realize that, even though intent is not magic, treating characters with either type of 'sad backstory' the same victim blamed the latter type). After all, in this case, the backstory is just being used to explain why he doesn't understand his actions were wrong. He was treated like cr@p by others and the only one who ever noticed him and didn't turn away from him was a guy who did the exact same thing to him. And expecting him to communicate when he's the victim and lacks communication skills is definitely victim blaming.
