They both have awful personalities but it's what makes this entertaining. Shin treating the interruption like a nuisance and big scary boss man sucking dih in the alleyway treated it like it was nothing. Power moves were made. I also like how they're not too different in stature or size...except for Jake's hands cause gahdamn they're huge.
I really wish more stories displayed hyper masculine men like this, like both leads have that trait. Jake has more power and is abusing it even if Shin does benefit way more with his forceful interference.
I do not expect any love or romance to be displayed in this, just dependency and lust driven interactions. Their dynamic is incomparable and refreshing.

This is the kind of shit I like seeing in my romance stories. Subtle moments of sweetness, communication, respect, and the consideration for one another. I wish there were more comics like this. Not explicit and it's between two grown adults that have the right amount of maturity to them. Some stories you have the characters be older in age but their maturity makes you think otherwise and then you have characters that are in junior high or secondary school and they're acting WIIIIILD for their age. Like stop lmao. AND I KNOW IT'S FICTION BUT GUESS WOT LUV I GOT TIME TO COMPLAIN ABOUT INANE SHIT RN CAUSE I'M ON MANGAGO JUST LIKE YOU.

A cultural reset. Now my life starts with before knowing about it and after.

maschalagnia is love for armpits and axillism is to fuck one, even tho it looks pretty funny it's a quite old fetish and even Freud did an analysis about it. Japanese are a bit famous for their love for armpits, armpit licking and also shaving armpits, anyone who's familiar with Japanese porn will confirm (▰˘◡˘▰)
The story is shit, ngl (I have so much gripes about the pacing and dialogue) but the art is nice and it's pretty neat that a comic artist drew for an American made novel.
LMAOO i wouldnt say SHIT but it was hella fast paste for them to fall in love like that.. and i feel like it was a bit cliche
Gorl it was incredibly cliche (but im trash and will consume anything with assassins/hitmen). The trial scene still haunts me when they were talking about the doctor's sexual orientation...called him a homosexual even though he was married to a woman prior. Bi/pan erasure for khwat. If I hate myself enough, I might read the actual novel just to compare and see if Jane Seville is a dumb bitch or if it was just an error in translation.
yooo really? i haven't started reading this yet but i read the actual novel and literally finished it in the span of 3 hours, i could not put it down lol.
you're right it's kinda cliche i guess, but the novel is kinda longer i think so they have time to develop the relationship, i'm pretty sure they didn't say anything about love until near the end.
honestly tho the novel is hella good, you should read it
yeah ok op you were right, there is no way they can properly condense the story into 24 chapters, if you want the real story you should definitely read the novel
I'm eyeing it on the Kindle app, but I do have a few other books and comics I need to finish before I put myself through that (would only read purely just for comparing to the graphic novel). Idk if you've seen my other reply to the other comment regarding how they addressed Jack's sexual orientation (during the trial scene), but I would like to know if they actually just said he was just homosexual in the actual novel compared to the graphic novel. Literally one of my biggest complaints regarding the story.
