by this point i just feel sorry for mc. and i totally get ml is just delusional from his own assumptions, but i lowkey am ticked off at him for them bc of the stress hes unloading onto mc

on ch63 and can someone lmk if they feel similarly about this story as i do? like i'm starting to realize i have no attachment to any of the characters' (except maybe lilith?), but i'm insanely disturbed by so many things in this story, that i just anxiously want to know what their conclusion is (ex: what the fuck is going on with citizenship/civil rights and human rights in this country, and does it just stay unregulated at the end of all of this? who is eve's grandpa? where is the blue obsidian? what happens to sara? what happens to emilia by the end of this? what is going on with daisy because holy shit-). but i actually just don't find the story or characters themselves that likeable so i don't really enjoy reading about them or anything they're doing. like this story is lowkey boring to me, and i don't like the characters enough to really care about their conflicts, it's just so many of the minor plotpoints/overarching mysteries are so concerning to me that i just need to have answers for them LMAO.

i'm ngl. at first i found the MC insufferable, like, two chapters in. now 27 chapters in, MC is less insufferable, but all of this for some reason gets on my nerves. it just feels like mc is like an absolute mary sue with no sense of consequences or real passion for what he's even doing.

i kinda feel like taerin doesn't feel the same?? like not only bc she's no longer tan, but imo she doesn't feel like the same character? like,,, from the first ten chapters i would've never predicted this taerin to EVER let kyungmo go the moment he broke into her house while she was sick- she would tell him off and call him out on his delusional bullshit. like taerin's crazy driven and clearly the type to give 120% in anything she puts her mind to, but i just can't imagine the taerin the author originally scripted to humor so much bullshit around her LOL. bc originally taerin seemed like the type to always stand up for anything she thinks is wrong, and while you could argue it's because she's playing into the revenge end that would serve that justice, i just think that type of justice feels off from such a confrontational and steadfast character like hers? esp since the revenge wouldn't truly address the really horrible things kyungmo has done (like i just CAN'T get over the trespassing and how she didn't even file a report?? or like, nail him for that behavior??)
