Has potential to had potential... Considering the mindset of MC more on "Possession" or rather the apostrophe function(Lmao??). We can also see that his father is incompetent as a figure. In short, we can see the one doesn't completely trust his father(not telling his premonition ability), and the other one turned dark.
Honestly, would've loved it if it weren't for the fact that he acted as if the father wasn’t someone who did something outrageous to the og owner(like why did you not abhor someone who did not try to be considerate for his own son??? How did you not have an inner monologue of hating such a person?). It left a bitter taste in my tongue, as how apathetic someone can be(not shocked but, I was expecting him to not feign ignorance to what the og’s father did. Because, I, myself think that if I were to be a "thief" of someone's body, I cannot give forgiveness for those who've harmed the og as I am not the og, though I can precede the act of revenge for the former soul of the vessel).
True, I didn't want him to be "useful" to that damn family and I want him to get out of that house and become independent. But I thought to myself why he did that. This is just my guess but I think he decided to stay so he can get benefits from that family. You know, the expenses, the connections, the power it holds, the name etc. So that later on he can dipped out and be able to face the world outside without problems.
