Unrequited love is my favorite trope in yaoi manga. The reader gets to look into a character's one-sided feelings, their insecurity and vulnerability with those feelings, and how they often keep it to themselves in fear of being rejected. I've read I shit ton more of this type but I'm narrowing down this list to the ones I find to be the best. I've tagged all of the ones I've read with "unrequited love" in my read list.
