So I just finished the first chapter and she says that her world is one without sound and that she was born deaf but the has hearing aids? Is she partially deaf? I have a few friends who have hearing aids but all of them are only partially deaf and the hearing aids allow them to hear better (not perfectly but slightly better). If she was completely deaf and lived in a world of silence then wouldn't the hearing aids be useless? I feel like they should've used different wording there like living in a world with only muffled noise or something along those lines. Do they expand more on her hearing ability later in the manga?
I don’t know if by now you’ve read the rest of the chapters but they do explain a bit how she essentially hears nothing aside from a mix of things she thinks are “sounds”. It’s not entirely clear the extent of her abilities but without the hearing aid she doesn’t hear anything

It was mentioned that the hearing aids sort of organizes the sounds but W/o them i guess she cant hear anything at all. Not too sure abt the details.
There's all kinds of deaf people like there different kind of blind people. Like some can just hear buzz in ears some hear u fully. But all in all they're all deaf.

Yes which is why I asked where on the spectrum she was. With the way they started off the story they made it sound like she was completely deaf but if someone is completely deaf then hearing aids are of no use to them so I wanted to know the extent to which she could hear.
Elves = goblins now lol s2 has been getting better with their translations but why don't they just formally claim a manga or manhwa instead of sniping? I feel like they could get rid of the stigma surrounding their group if they did it properly and politely rather than barging in on a story that already has a translator. Maybe they're just internet trolls and have chaotic good(?) Vibes since they are still technically providing decent translations. Idk anymore. Please do not disregard the groups working on these projects, S2.

Yes actually. It's not super choppy or anything and I can easily read it. I've had my fair share of MTL scans and S2's scans are much easier to understand. They're cleaner than most of the MTL scans too but those are usually done by fans. Either way their translations are decent. Not good, not great, but not awful either. Just decent.
Maybe you just happened to see a halfway decent work from them, but S2 isn't doing passable translations. MTL does a better job than them, and that's on top of them sniping projects from actually good scan groups, which makes those groups drop their projects. S2 does quick jobs for the sake of enticing readers to visit their site, which is chock-full of shitty ads, that give them money. Basically, they clickbait. They are dishonest thieves.
Damn i feel like they just slopped together the part about her reincarnation. They could elaborate on it later but I feel like it would've flowed better if they established the basics when they introduced it or if they had postponed revealing her reincarnation. As of now, it just seems like a half-assed throw in...

I saw one comment that said they'll include more info about it later but as of now it just seems like bad writing. They should have just introduced it at that time but ig they wanted to come up with a convenient reason as to why she's good at the guild job. There were a million other ways to execute it better though
