Tbh I would rather have a short good story that I can come back to over an overdramatized and dragged out one, but I was hoping to see them rebuild their relationship in a healthy way. Addressing the issues and admitting to their mistakes is only the beginning, now they both need to put in the work and I was hoping it will be portrayed later in the story. :((
