I commented this as a reply to someone a few chapters back but figured it might be helpful for others trying to follow along. Correct me if im wrong but i did go bck to check.
Lieutenant Colonel Lee is the higher ranking Old dude(very distinguishable as he has full gray hair and a hefty beard) who our ML poisoned.
There was two more dudes show along with Gilsoo and they all worked Under Lt. Colonel Lee, one was the dude who originally sent our MC to our ML(Headman Choi) and he got murked bc he was caught in the jail area telling our MC to Kill himself.
Now that Ive gone back again the dude we see now with the order to kill Gilsoo is the Chief Hwang Hoon.
They were introduced in the early chapters like 1-10ch. Hwango Hoo switched sides after lee and choi died between 15ch~20ch.
For more rando context:
Deputy Yoon is the young avg looking dude who works with our ML, you often see him in blue.
For even more context out ML goal here is to purge out or weed out the bad roots in the system. Those who will be loyal and those who scheme. Our ML is essentially just the Kings Blood hound.

Im taking a guess here but i think that they used to be friends, and MC dad used his sons friendahip to kidnapped ML. And sometime during the kidnapping or maybe when the ML was escaping MC recieved a bad head injury which caused a black out in some of his memory. Ie the kidnapping, but since his dad was who was with MC during healing time the dad probs lied abt what happened which is why he doesnt remember abt the kidnapping.
And during the kidnapping MC was the ML only hope? Humanity which is why he has this unhealthy attachment. I could even theorize the MC probably tried to help him escape which lead to his head injury but thats getting into specifics.
As we saw with eunhyuk she is very straight forward with her communication. The only think she keeps to herself is information that comes off super unbelievable like morang trying to delete her. She isnt leading dohwa on, she is being a good friend to him. Even he is aware the she likes Eunhyuk. He knows theyre vloser them him and Su. He can see it, but bc he is attached to her, ya know her being the only decent human being in his life ofc he is gonna have feeling and ofc he doesnt want to let that go. Suae has only ever treated him like a friend and if you dont think so maybe you need better friends (or maybe you just need friends).
I hope the author lets Dohwa heal without a relationship and that he cherishes her friendship with Su, and builds a closer relationship with their new friend group. Because honestly thats what he needs good f'ing friends. Sure them dating would be okay too but he just desperately needs a good support system in his life.
I say this as some who isnt taking teams lol bc idc abt which ones she ends up with despite dohwa being my favorite character. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
When he said "you just got to her first" or smth I was like umm?? She's her own person not some race to win lmao he's acting like she would just fall in love with whoever the nice to her first, basically disregarding her and their (su and eunhyuk's) relationship, since it wasn't as simple as him "getting to her first". Idk I love him but it was definitely a bad choice of words for him
It was. But it also add to the point. He thinks she fell for him cause he was the 1st nice guy to her after minwoo which is exactly how his feeling developed for suae. And his choice of words is why i think he needs to grow outside of a relationship. Bc despite Eu's trauma, if it were reversed and she was with doh, he would respect it despite his feelings.

I appreciate the artist depiction of "black" eyes as a night sky with stars (the light shines) in them. And let us see how Mr. Kwon sees him ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I dont understand all the comments thinking he should rush his revenge (or at least thats what they look like to me). Like dont get me wrong i want him to get it but it would feel too early if he did anything extreme now. Storytelling wise it would be silly and rushed for him to jump the gun. If the Uke is smart (like he has shown outside of his inexperience) he would keep quiet for awhile considering his opponent is a well rehearsed general who is not only very Obviously well educated and trained but also aware of the Ukes vengeful feelings. I want this to be a good story outside of the sex. Ya know, i hope the author takes time to flesh these characters out, make them 4D. Force them to reflect on each others past.
Maybe our Uke is gonna get a serious dose of realizing his dad wasnt as good of a man as he thought orr maybe our seme will be forced to consider that the the person he serves is dogshit (which i think he kinda knows and his job just started off as a way to get him off the streets.)

I agree. The general is nice to the uke because he knows that he can't do anything too threatening to him. The only way uke can get ANY revenge is if he plays it slow. And I like that about this because the general didn't have a whole 180 degree flip in his personality or immediately fall in love.
I think the general and the emperor (ig) are cleaning up the kingdom. I don't remember where they mentioned that the emperor was bad (like sure he is torturing the old nobility but maybe it's the prince trying to do good for kingdom idk) and that uke's father did fuck up somewhere. I could be wrong lol.
I agree. I’m undecided about the dad. Like sure he was a great dad, but that doesn’t mean he was a great person. So far we’ve only seen the General go after people who were scheming behind the scenes. I also think it’s completely plausible that the dad was scapegoated in place of someone of much higher status. No matter what, the General was following orders, and considering he would’ve been tried for treason if he hadn’t killed the dad, I can see him making that choice.
I’m totally with you on the revenge thing too. Uke is like 1/4 the General’s size, the General already knows Uke despises him, and both are intelligent. Plus, Uke has already been in jail once when he was framed. I doubt he wants to go back.
They’re essentially playing chess, where checkmate for the General is to tame the Uke, but for the Uke checkmate is killing the General.
Its a good chance im just reading to much into it but seeing how the general has no issue praising/criticising ppl but has made 0 positive comments abt the king I dont see the king as a good figure, and I leave the possibility that maybe the king even framed the dad himself! Or maybe the dad got involved in something unknowingly.
Ultimately tho what I have seen is;
The general is super professional from what we have seen with his work. He gives a very "I leave my personal life at home" kind of person.
I also appreciate that he did 180• in the story.
I hadda double take when they were on the couch when Sesam was flipped, that specific shot made him look extra extra pretty. Dont get me wrong he always looks pretty but that shot was on the verge of sparkles ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Look its weird that some ppl hate him more then the Seme who killed him. Even knowing the uke probably killed the seme in this universe the situation that lead to eithers death was the Seme being abusive and controlling. The ML toxic behavior is a result of the Semes abusive and controlling nature. Should the uke cheat? No. But as we have all obviously seen breaking up with the seme isnt exactly an easy option.
The Uke should have never got into this relationship in the first place. He thought he could help the Seme and didnt realize the only help the seme needs is a psychward. The seme would have and will obsess over the Uke no matter what the uke does bc thats the sort of mental illness he has. And without psychiatric help and police involvement every pathway is a dead end.
I get it cheating is bad but its the least of all evils atm. Life will never be black and white especially for people in these shit situations. Even then the uke hasnt actually cheated which makes the hate wilder. Like yes he blushed, he was originally straight, and he isnt confirmed gay. But also the Seme is trying to isolate him, just a reminder thats abuse. So yes he is gonna get attached to what little healthy affection/interaction he recieves.
Im not critizing the story, its psychological for a reason. But guys if youre gonna read psychological you cant use such black and white formats. (づ_-)

It's because the uke groomed him, tbh it's more like uke was the abusive groomer and the seme learned from him and became aggressive and it back fired on the uke and now it seems like the roles reversed (when not really)
If that were the reason then the outcry should be directed at the ukes grooming not the cheating. I dont think the Uke ever had the intention to ever be with the seme. If fact there are more then a few cue indicators that show he was uncomfortable with having physical contact with the seme. The intention from the uke just isnt there for me to see grooming. Or is there a such thing as unintention grooming? i dont want to dismiss your point so easily. So Ill have to look into that more so I can see what you mean.
I disagree. You could argue that the seme is worse because he killed the uke, but the controlling one, in my opinion, is the the uke. He never tried to help the seme, he used him as a source of comfort. The seme was clingy because of his background, but he did not get obsessive until the uke started lying and gaslighing him. He keeps playing with the emotions of someone who just became an adult despite knowing how he grew up. The uke is emotionally abusive. Cheating (emotionally and/or physically) is not the only thing he is doing. It is because of this that some people believe he is worse and caused his own downfall. Like you said it's not just black and white.
I definitely dont think that the ukes only fault in this is cheating. And i should have made that more clear in my post, because i agree with what you said abt him defaulting to the seme for the sake of comfort. What i meant when i said he thought he was helping is he was trying to play savior. That sort of complex is usually derived from ones own insecurity and loneliness. Which is obvious in the uke.
I think its weird that people are only adressing the cheating. Like thats the one line he shouldnt have crossed. Which im sure i missed a comment or so that might have adressed other stuff.
My point is the cheating is much lower on the list of things to hate so its wild that thats what caused a stir. And i suppose thats why I focused more on the Semes negative behavior, and should have also gone into more detail of the ukes faults as well.
Bc in no way do i think either of them isnt toxic. The uke is an irresponsible adult for trying to take on the semes as a responsibility when he had no stable foundation in the first place. He built an unstable house for the seme and himself and now everything is collapsing in on them. Guess the added problem in this is that apparently the house was haunted as well.
I think a lot of people focus on the cheating because most people see it as the ultimate form of disrespect and betrayal. It's not uncommon to hear of people doing something terrible to their partners because they cheated. It makes people go crazy with anger. It can also cause extreme depression. Depending on your beliefs and culture, cheating can be seen as on the same level as killing someone or even worse. This may sound illogical to someone who doesn't have the same beliefs or experiences, but some people take it very seriously. I'm not saying you have to agree or that I completely agree. I'm just trying to give a potential reason
