literally skipped every sex scenes between jing and zuosen bcs wtf??? zuosen is too forceful and never listened to him despite them having an agreement, only jing kept his words. He only learned the concept of consent once jing carried the baby... Tbh I only stayed for the side couple since they have better dynamics than the main, and for the plot to progress and get their revenge. I fucking hate zuosen idc idc he needs to suffer more, or better, leave jing alone. I literally had to force myself to scroll and read whenever he appears on screen lmaoo
there was literally no emotional development from both jing and zuosen, the only thing that has been backing up their "love story" was the fact that he saved the ml years ago and that was it. Jing only ever felt something for Zuosen aside from disgust and the need to run away from was when his body "craves" Zousen's scent for the baby and that was it (for 60+ chapters). In contrast to the side couple wherein Renyou and Laiyi managed to surpass the emotional depth of the main couple in just a few panels with reasons and shi on how Renyou fell for him. I know that redemptions are famous troupe in bl but this story could have been so much better without making the ml THAT much of an asshole.
sorry for rambling, it's 2 am. I'm trying to find a story that will make me smile and put me in good sleep but this what I stumbled upon on. No sleeping tonight, I guess.
This feels a bit rushed, like the problem was never completely resolved, taejun's experience didn't receive any justice. But I think this was resolve internally, just no complete closure from his perpetrator (father) as some stories usually go so this was a bit new but realistic. There was also no explanation on why his sister hates him. I wish there was another season or side story..

Would've been better with another season tbh. Still a great read though, the story and characters are really well-made. I think the only problem was the pacing between the romance part and that the author was focused on progressing the plot that they forgot to develop some parts.
