Only in April this year did the first same-sex couple in Osaka get deemed as foster parents.

But instead of thinking about reality, think about the manga. Manga is a world fiction. Basing facts and comparing them with a work and art of fiction is a bit wrong.
for me, I'd like the manga to be more realistic so it actually can bring hope by overcoming real life challenges or some what solving them.
Authors do have to base manga off real life because fiction is a reflection of our world, but there is nothing wrong with pulling apart from real life and making the universe different. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ just preference and I felt the need to tell everyone factors of what could affect the next chapter
They could always go to another country to get married and adopt. Takumu is thinking long term. They are still young and from what they're saying Yuki's a really good musician, so they could easily go abroad and be pretty stable. They could stay there long enough to get married and adopt a child (or get a surrogate) and choose to stay there or go back home. They're young and in the world we live in now they have a lot more options then they would have had if this was a few years back. If they really wanted to make it happen they could. I feel like the only thing holding them back is Yuki's insecurities (which are well founded and very understandable since Takumu was originally straight). It would be hard, but if they are really dedicated to each other and in it for the long run they could make it happen. I hope they talk it out and get back to being all cute and fluffy! No stupid misunderstandings and pointless conflict please! My heart can't take it!!
