Ever heard of the anime The Last Air Bender? I think they are referencing that anime. There are some people who can control water (Water Benders), See? ^_^
K this is superrr late, but they’re referring to waterbenders from Avatar the Last Airbender. It’s been my favorite show since 2005 haha if you haven’t seen it yet, I definitely recommend it ^^ btw it’s on Netflix now and I’m so happy since I left my DVD set at my parents’ house :/
