I can't say I didn't like it. I'll admit that other yaoi have left me feeling like it needed to end all nice and happy with them in a perfect relationship, but I'm weirdly glad that it didn't happen that way. I feel like the ending was fitting for the characters and even though they don't end up in an official committed relationship, you can tell that there's love between them. Also, the author leaves a lot of room to interpret their future and even drops little suggestions in the differences between Jirou and Toua's inner thoughts and actions to suggest that they're simply not ready for commitment yet, but will one day reveal their feelings for each other.
