i read this maybe a little over a year ago, and let me tell you any time i see this, hear it, see something connected to it, i start crying. this manhua was really one of the saddest ones i could ever read (key word, “i”. not for you but it was for me). i am a big crybaby, i cry to literally anything sad really, but this one made me sob. no actually, i think this one takes the cake on “bl’s that have made me cry”.

first of all, i hate cheaters. i have always hated them. thankfully, i haven’t been cheated on, but just hearing stories of others who have, seeing friends who had been cheated on, my own mother getting cheated on twice, i really hate cheaters. with a burning passion. so reading this manhua, just fueled that hatred even more and i can never forgive a cheater. i’m sorry what anyone says i just cannot, and for the guy that i’m not even gonna bother to remember his name bc i fucking hated him, i hope he lives a sad miserable life after what he did to zhishu.

secondly, the plot just… him knowing he was gonna die, and just trying to ignore the pain caused by his, ex lover. UGHHHHHH. love-hate relationship with that trope UGHHHHH. if i remember, while reading this i was really hoping he would change, maybe a redemption arc idk, but nothing. and then the ending, god that ending. i’m literally sobbing right now just thinking about it all.

anyways, i def do recommend for anyone who’s looking to cry for a good week
