Jk never pressured him, at that time in the beginning, he didn't even know of Dan’s financial crisis. Are talking about the same Jk who paid his grandma’s bills and his debt? Who let him stay in his home to be fed. He never pressured Dan. He said that he didn't need the money and went ahead to replace dan by calling one of his other whores.

Dan never voices his thoughts leaving jk unaware. We see Dan’s thoughts that's why we just assumed that Jk also knows when HE, in fact, doesn't. Jk has indeed stopped when he noticed the discomfort of Dan. He stopped when Dan cried, he gave solutions to make Dan feel better. He pitied Dan but it is Dan who chose to bear it all leaving Jk clueless.
