I think if the mc doesn't really mind it then, he must have felt it was the best plan of action. I think the comment of forgetting was generalized, that's how I read it.
I mean they forget the real reason why he turn him into an omega, some people make it sound that the reason he made him an omega was something sexual.

it was really really unrealistic - i personally didn’t like it bc she was wayyyy to op like “mary sue,”
hardly any challenges and too many important details i felt were left out
