although i liked the pacing i dont really understand why the author didn’t specify whether kashiwase was a trans male or had hemorrhoids until later chapters,would’ve made the story much less confusing
and we didn’t get much about hoshitani’s feelings and how he concluded that he’s inlove with kashiwase

its not confusing. its not explicitly written out to the reader for a reason, it makes u question what exactly is the blood? like not everything has to be said out loud and in ur face for u to understand things lol... its called context.

i think the author intention left it out to have readers question, their storytelling was one where the answers aren’t given directly, but are implied/the reader will learn over time. i don’t think it was confusing, the beginning few chapters were in the pov of the mc, who is a naive little boy who also doesn’t know the full extent which made the story more intriguing and sad when you learn the truth .
