Hate how Lee wasn't angrier at his father. The old man announced that, without consent, the MC was now his successor. He basically put a large, neon target on the son that supposedly cares about. Such a reckless fucking move, not to mention douchey. The same night this happens he already has choke marks around his neck, even though it's from Tsar who had different reasons it still proves his life could be taken out SO easily. I hate that bastard old man.

Thought the same, it was his way to force him into his world and make him unable to leave russia (well MC still tried to leave), I would have been angry too. Same with Ceasar, he is cute but so toxic, love is not possessiveness

I fear thr main character is making very bad decisions because he's under so much pressure and stress. He's keeping the fact that the love interest's father is dead a secret because main character wants to protect him even though that'd not his decisions to make. He's also keeping his father around for no logical reason even though he's garbage and annoys everyone.
I know conflict is a part of a good story and that a story wouldn't be as good without it but I'm getting a sense that this could go very bad if not written out correctly. Instead of providing a driving plot for the story this might annoy readers
