Ms. Do is so freaking suspicious. What was up with that long ass panel of just watching her walk and then going into that building? Authors don't just do that without wanting you to clearly focus on that specific character for some special reasons, or else it's just a waste of paper. I feel like the author is trying to tell us something; give us a signal, but I can't put my finger on whattt. Not to mention that Taesoo said that he likes petite and bubbly girls and Ms Do is petite and bubbly. Also Taesoo said his ex later became really mean and just downright cruel and evil, and sometimes I get the feeling that there's something... dark about Ms. Do.
Not a waste of paper, I think the author was trying uto tell us something :
The guy offered to dropped her off so Ms Doh told him where she lived.
But then she waited for his car to be out of sight and started walking (a lot!)...she clearly lied to him.
The question is why?
Anyone else think that the older brother died during that car accident that the news mentioned in the prologue, and the little brother went hella crazy and started killing people around the scene? The cover picture looks like it's set in the period of when everything had finished taking place; which is why the little brother is covered in blood (like in the aftermath of having murdered people/or having seen his brother get killed right next to him and his blood splattered all over him) and the older brother is still wearing his school's summer/spring uniform/normal thin clothes and smiling up at the snowy sky, as if he's never gotten the chance to change his clothes, but has also made peace with his death (which is why he's aimed up at the heavens)?
The funny thing is that I had the EXACT same prediction! Everyone thinks that Yoseob killed Taeoh and Yura amidst the others who had hurt Jaeha, but in the starting chapters, it's mentioned that he killed 8 civilians, not necessarily people he knew.
Don't know where it's heading but I see tragedy ahead. I do wish for something satisfactory though. It's only a wishful thinking ╮(￣▽￣)╭
It's definetly not Taeoh. In chapter 13, one of the chapters taking place in the present (so when Yoseob has already killed 8 people), Taeoh is seen in the police station stating that he'll ''tell them the truth because he was there and saw everything happen.''
I know, yeah. I'm honestly just waiting to see how it's going to turn out. I mean even if he did lash out randomly, what happened in between? Did Yura really not tell anyone? Did Taeoh ever apologize?
It would be pretty anti-climatic if Yoseob killed random civilians without any motive. *Fingers crossed*
I'd honestly lose a bit of respect for this story if it ends with the 'ol loved one gets hit with a car trope. Especially cliche if it was to save Yoseob. But at the same time, it might fit. At this point, I doubt it will end happily anyway.
Maybe Jaeha was chasing after Yura or something then the car accident happened or like maybe Yosoeb was going to be the victim then Jaeha pushed him away or something. (HAHAHAH my imagination)
I noticed something though: Yoseob smiles after the person gets hit and Taeoh doesn't look upset until he sees Yoseob there. I think if it was Jaeha that got hit, Taeoh would be a little more distressed, and Yoseob wouldn't be smiling. But who knows. A lot can happen still between now and the present.
