That's usually the thing with side couples. They will either happen first or their story ends up being more fast paced. But there's some exceptions like Yandere Kanojo and Kare Kano where the mains get together right away.

I do think Sangwoo cares for Bum to some degree, but I don't think the reason he freaked out was because he was concerned about Bum's health. Don't forget that Sangwoo is a psychopath. There're two ways this guy reacts. Either he's irrational or he has a plan. In this case, Sangwoo probably realized right of the bat that he could garner the sympathy and empathy of the officers by making it seem like he's concerned about Bum's health. After all, what kind of kidnapper and murderer would worry about his victim's health?
By doing this, Sangwoo has laid out the trap to make it seem like officer Handsome was the one who hurt Bum and that Bum and Sangwoo are simply the victims of the deranged officer that broke into his house. He laid it on even thicker by making it sound like officer Handsome is Bum's ex-boyfriend and that he came after Sangwoo because he was jealous.
Sangwoo may have come to feel that Yoonbum is the only person he can honestly open up to & communicate with, so even on a selfish level he may have chose to keep him alive just to have someone to talk to....& he's probably become accustomed to his cooking by this point.
I don't think Sangwoo has even gotten the chance to consider what he'll do with Bum. He's been fighting the officer and then was dragged to the police station. So he really hasn't gotten the chance to think about anything else except how to survive. Although, I don't think Sangwoo will kill Bum, because I also believe that he likes Bum enough to keep him alive, but I doubt Sangwoo is going to let Bum go unpunished for not telling him about officer Handsome being in his house.

Everything was amazing except the last chapter. The guy cheats on you, doesn't acknowledge his mistakes and it's the girl who tries to get back with him? Girl, have some self-respect. Seriously. If a guy cheats on you, punch him. I'm not kidding. Just punch the guy and go get yourself some ice cream.

Personally, I really hated this story. It was so rushed. I wouldn't even be salty about Madoka and Mitsuki ending up together IF IT WAS HANDLED BETTER.
But this was done so, so poorly. I had to literally read the previous chapters to make sure I didn't miss anything. He was literally trying to SEDUCE Madoka's grandfather in chapter THREE and suddenly Madoka and Mitsuki are having sex in chapter FOUR and that's it? That's how everything ends? What the hell. Nothing was built up properly. There was no proper closure. It was all so rushed that I felt like someone pushed me off a cliff and let me plummet to my death. I couldn't even enjoy the sex scene because all I thought was ''Mitsuki, you dirty little asshole, you were all about that old dick just seconds ago. I'd say fuck you, but I bet you'd enjoy that too.''
CAN YOU TELL HOW PISSED OFF I AM? The only thing good about this story was the art. Could it have killed the Mangaka to draw a few more chapters to make Madoka and Mitsuki coming together a little more likable? And if she couldn't be bothered with more chapters, then don't let those two end up together? Or better yet, write out the whole mess with the grandfather and focus on Madoka and Mitsuki's relationship? Just a poorly executed manga.
