Anniversary, you can’t be more fucking dead ass doomed than that.
Personally I feel like there was a lack of communication on both sides. Their relationship seemed good before, but looked to have strained due to overall money problems but also not being open to each other. The FL’s choice of affection is different from Mincheol’s which perhaps also plays into it. But I don’t think that’s the main factor as to why it particularly broke the relationship.
Had they had the money, perhaps they would have lived well and this would have never happened, yes. But going through tough times like this is the essential test and essence of what love and being in a relationship really is. Endurance, energy, strength, etc. and most importantly, responsibility. Their environment isn’t ideal, but the fact that FL is willing to put up with it all for him, shows commitment, which is her way of showing her appreciation and for being with him. Yet, to him, he doesn’t understand love as that way. He wants to have a FL be receptive to his affection, spend time with each other.
But let’s not excuse him for the fact he never decided to consult with her on that and just seamlessly decides to make the decision on his own and call her a “emotionless doll” and someone who can’t live without him. Whilst also deciding to do adultery. He is not at all a good partner, perhaps he was before, but not now.
I feel bad for the FL she’s so precious

The transition was too abrupt. They just killed a major boss in the entire series, and yet there was no moment of showing how they MADE IT. THEY’RE ALIVE, and they practically saved Japan. So many people died, and yet all that comes after is just them being like, yup whatever, anyways who’s up for some lunch! Type mood lol.
I do understand that they are probably detached in a lot of ways though. That battle’s gotta be hella draining to be mentally stable at all lol
BITCH HELL SHE WILL, FUCK YOU
