If you remember the man with blue eyes and blonde hair, aka the guy who works with magic and turned back time mentioned that other than Keira (the main girl) someone else took part in the spell but only one of them could keep their memories. It seems to me her Father took part in the spell and since Keira kept her memories that means the other person would have to lose theirs hence why her father doesn't remember anything from his "dream"
