That's just his way of reinforcing his internalized homophobia. I bet he's had a crush on him since forever.
So confusing and weird, but the twist was so hilarious that it made up for everything else. Also, I think the times it seemed like his friends were making fun of him were just his imagination or a misunderstanding
But I just couldn't get past the premise, no matter how hard I tried! An adult should not be attending school with kids! The characters were sweet and they didn't do anything unsavory, but something about it just doesn't sit right with me.
That chapter 4 ending was so good. That part about the stars seeing humans like four leaf clovers, where the ones that are different are lucky because they are rare... That really got me.
And I can't stop reading it! I need to find some fluff to help calm me down-
I was hoping the next chapter was up. I really liked this scene in the novel. Next time, next time...
