This makes me feel so soft inside like some warm glow. It was amazing for reasons I can't put in words like usual lol. The characters, the pace of the story and just the whole way their relationship was portrayed was unusual yet soft. I'm reading this again when I would want to feel like I'm loved. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

After reading how he kinda let the rapist molest his partner, I couldn't find it myself to read further. I just can't understand
he got turned on and wanted to watch....bad idea but it was a choice he regretted later.
I understand that the rape part is a yaoi plot thingy and usually I ignore it. But this is so sickening I just can't understand it. Add the fact that someone disliked my comment, I'm literally confused.
How can someone get turned on watching other person getting almost raped? That guy got trauma too?!!? Like what??!!? I've read sick and twisted shit but these kinda things always take the lead in the race of fucked up.
This world is crazy. People actually do get turned on by watching someone else get molested or raped, and people get turned on by imagining themselves getting raped or molested. Terrible I know, but that is the reality of this sick world, though this is just a manga it is still very true in real life unfortunately. But it is good that he realized that what he did was wrong and wishes to never hesitate like that again.

So I might be missing something cuz I actually kinda like this manga? It was unusual and a bit different from other mangas in some way that I can't put my finger on. Idk I just liked it. And I felt confused after reading the comments. What am I missing?? (〜￣△￣)〜
I feel the same way.
The way the characters are remind me of Cowboy Bebop a little? They all have a sense of camradiere, they pretty much get along, but there's this air of mystery to them, composure, self-containment, where there seems to be a lot more to them than we see. Esp with the ramen chef and Makino.
I also think the mangaka does a more muted, emotionally resonant take on the hallmark BL tropes. It's a plot ripe for melodrama but things never go over the top and all the characters are pretty mature. Makino doesn't turn into a creepy yandere plotting Hideomi's doom. Yukiya's fragility feels earned rather than a tired inevitable result of his more feminine presentation. Hideomi is masculine but not a toxic, over-the-top alpha. And the mangaka doesn't play up the incest angle as particularly lurid or taboo. It could as easily be a typical "childhood friends" story even though it has the typical coerced sex scene and stalking.
I enjoyed it.
I haven't read cowboy bebop but I did see some comments saying that it is sort of similar to that one. I think the lack of over the top drama makes it a bit different from other mangas. And I agree with that characters are mature and their personalities aren't overbearing or cliché in a way. Like you said Yukiya's fragility feels natural.
I wasn't left feeling dissatisfied with the ending or actions of characters, which is really rare, so I was really confused why people didn't like the story.

This might be the best manga of Sensei for me. I liked all the semes in this one. They were sweet, non pushy and didn't forced anything on their partners and even gave space to breathe (▰˘◡˘▰)
But one thing that bothered me was the father/boss of the butler one. I mean he's a butler not a slave. "Can't leave the grounds until permission" wtf is with that?
And it was really nice that the first guy didn't even hesitate in saying that he's going to introduce his partner to his parents as lover. It just warmed me like uwu

Maybe I'm a bit too dumb and emotional but I didn't like the story. I tried my best to give it a shot but couldn't complete it. It was too dark and too much and a bit boring for me. I'm a bit envious that people who actually liked it and understood it. But maybe its just me. *Shrugs*
