I decided to read this again. i read this last year as chapters were coming out every week so reading everything one shot made everything clearer i suppose and it made me understand chang’s actions better. Honestly what he did was unforgivable and he’s a fool for not being honest with his feelings. If he did i’d like to think things would turn out differently between him and yeowoon.
And for me personally reading it a second time was painful because i was in a much different place in my life last year than i am now. There are parts where i really relate to how yeowoon was feeling. Feeling suicidal and coming to terms that i will probably never achieve my dreams and continue to live as best i can without being extraordinary or having any dream to achieve. I hope i can eventually come to terms with it like yeowoon did.

lmao i absolutely LOVED fools too, but what makes fools great is that its a pretty simply story with not much drama, but love or hate is PACKED with drama so there is lot of YEARNING.

Love or Hate is heavy, but it's amazing if you read it carefully. It requires way more thinking than Fools haha. Like you gotta really think about each monologue and the intentions behind the characters, and why they're actually "toxic" as readers like to put it.
Also!! I suggest not reading it if you're gonna really hate the step sibling taboo used as the main conflict here. 2 out of the 3 main characters met when they were 16 as their parents were getting married. They loved each other as teens and tried to be together, and the parents got divorced 3 years later. The story takes place 7 years after the divorce, and heavily focuses on these two and their past vs present relationship.
