Honestly i think this story would be resolved if they gave Chance a wish and he asked for everything to be back to normal, but for everyone to remember this timeline. So Henry gives up completely on Chance and he can be happy with Lucius and Chance gets to go back to Lucy. But i think that would be the easy way out
