I don’t know if it’s the translation or it’s actually written this way but the dialogue and the mc feels so cheesy at times? It’s not as much as cringing feeling but It feels off every now and then. The concept is fresh, i love it

Actually, when she was bullying him, she died for it. The tamed is when she redeamed herself and kept treating him well. Sure, it was because she didn't want to die at first but she was bullying him because she was bullied as well and desperate for attention. Her "mom" literaly told her that was the way to become a proper adult. Super messed up
On chapter 3. The mc was truly a blind kid if she didn’t realise that everyone and literally everyone around her knew she was a illegitimate kid for that long, the way they treat her too. It’s so comical that she said something like “If only someone told me it wasn’t right” when she already knew it was wrong AND someone in her life already told her. I guess she’s obviously influenced by evil deeds since she is surrounded by it in majority but still she wasn’t a bright kid
abuse and manipulation can severely impact and stunt a child’s emotional intelligence so i honestly am not surprised. if that’s the only environment you’ve ever known, especially with a case like latia’s where she was completely uneducated and isolated from the outside world, it’s expected to believe that the situation is normal. children depend on their parents and treat their words as absolute truth when they haven’t had any direct experiences that contradict those words. of course she’ll listen to her parents over all others, it’s just how an average child’s brain works. i think only after her family blamed her in the end was she able to see from a different perspective as she had to reason to challenge that original point of view. she was only 10 when she died, so her mind wasn’t even developed to the point where it would starting at puberty, even if we ignore her personal circumstances. ultimately she was a child so i don’t think it’s fair to expect her to have a robust sense of morals apart from what she’s been taught. that’s just my two cents tho
Honestly MC is such a fox… like he is sleeping willingly with the Seme, despite knowing og fl is engaged to him and the whole story while saying “I’m rooting for these two” what are you even on about bro. Lily who is a teenage delicate girl has more backbone than the uke who was a full fledged adult who worked in another world and knows many of important stuff from the novel… I really should not be looking for logic in this type of manga but I can’t help noticing
take out damn near all the smut except for like the ‘love potion’ part and itd fuckin make sense. this is just mostly smut and makes no sense but if there was barely any itd be a good story imo

Tbh Gareth is such a realistic character. I know few “Gareth” in my life. It’s really to say a person is completely evil, they may have redeeming qualities but setting boundaries for yourself and assessing one’s decision is really important. Also having a good circle
