Sorry but the dialogue is so cringe and marry sue right now. Her suddenly having a lisp is kind of embarrassing and there are some contradictions already. The Duke is a high noble and also a Villian Family (meaning dangerous) but our main character just held his hand to lead him to the orphanage director. Does she not think that touching a high noble as a peasant orphan might come off as an offensive?? I mean she should know better since she is some what reincarnated and mature. Another thing is she actually does know that she is “dirty” and surprised that the duke protected her in the carriage because she thought he wouldn’t touch her… uhm… a minor contradiction but still. I mean I guess this story is just not serious and actually more focused on comedy. Feels more fanfictiony

Uhm... it's actually explained already in the manhwa. For context, the duke and his sons have this "curse" in which makes people fear them. That's why, the scenarios you've mentioned went on as of something of a surprise/intrigue rather than offensive. For me, they were like "Oh! She's not scared of us. Mine!" ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
And now that you've also mentioned it, I think the ducal family became the villain of the "story" (the one that mc read) due to them having a "curse" and that they are an obstacle to Azalea's supremacy since they have the same standing as the empire(?).
And yeah, since I've caught up with the recent uploads, all I can say that it's a good read and might be a better read if that Azalea girl dies by being stomped by Meowy (though I know she'll live by the grace of plot armor)
