I know, which is why I kept reading it. But some parts were hard to swallow even in the context of manhwa. I mean I’ve read plenty of BL like this, and it wasn’t a bad story…but the relationship was really cringeworthy for me at times. Like when mister murder man was all, “leave and you’re dead.” And it’s cute but it’s not really a joke so like…not cute? Or all the times he just abandoned Chris or resorted to smashing his own head open to PROTECT his best friend from his boyfriend murdering him….I mean. Sheesh. Lol

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit relieved the issue was not that He Tian told Lil Mo he was moving away. I’m just gonna push that elephant to the wayy far corner of my mind cos who the hell wants to deal with that gut wrencher. Also sorry no one appreciates the reality of your struggles Lil Mo. I hope this will be a turning point towards better empathy rather than the classic misunderstanding trope that derails the relationship and has us pulling our hair out
