Lol i mistakenly thought this was completed and ch 55 had me thinking, “well fuck, that’s solid commentary on the unjust justice system, life and childhood trauma.” Kinda liked it
I caught myself at the end being like, “this is a manga and I’m tearing up about a birth…this is a manga. Calm down.” It makes me so sad bc I want a baby so badly but I probably will never have one and yeah. It’s still a beautiful, sweet story that also makes me want a body pillow lol. Definitely the purest thing on mangago.

This is hilarious… only finished ch 6 so far but it seems like this guy is on spectrum. But that aside, here is a PSA for anyone crushing on a nerd getting their doctorate: read their publications before the date (as best you can) or at least the abstracts and their research summary (usually on their lab’s website). If someone is willing to devote 6-8 years to get a doctorate and work in a field that is criminally underfunded (in terms of research grants) and no guarantee of job stability (like he said his experiment was cancelled despite how much work he put into it) then it’s a major part of their life that you should take interest in learning about. I’m not saying you need to be fluent in their field’s language or understand their research to have a deep convo about it like you’re their colleague, but know it enough to engage them and make it known that you care about this part of their identity
I do want her to die in the end. Not for shock value, but so her time on earth living authentically and the brevity of life can be meaningful to both of them. She is able to go fulfilled and peacefully. And it enables a transformation in him too as a way to honor his love for her (while also working through the compounded trauma of her death, his mother’s and emotionally neglectful childhood). I wouldn’t even be mad about it ending with a panel of him putting flowers on her grave while his kid and wife call him back to the car or something and he shows genuine affection to them too.

This author is absolutely hilarious! and to everyone complaining about not reading on webtoon— i do read it on there but had it on my notifications on here so I sometimes will read on both. Can’t remember if this was more up to date or free access on Webtoon was… agree to support the author even w a simple thumbs up, comment or rating on the official app. Least we could do for free art/ work ya know? Plus if you want them to continue, platforms that display their work need incentive to do so (raters and readings).
Also, “Love Advice from the Grand Duke of Hell” is complete and just as good (on there as well)
