Holy fuck this was good, I especially liked the relationship between Taejoo and Yoon. I could really feel the emotions both were processing, and it just felt so real to me, their grief, regret, and longing. But Taejoo’s relationship with his (ex) boyfriend felt so unstable, cause Taejoo was just staying with him to try and forget Yoon, and as an obligation for something he believed he did wrong. It’s not like the ex was wrong for trying to get Taejoo to love him, but he was too desperate, and the relationship started out unhealthy. And after Yoon woke up, Taejoo still hadn’t moved on yet, and was really indecisive. This added another insecurity to their relationship, and Taejoo felt extremely guilty towards the (ex) boyfriend for feeling this way. Instead of patiently waiting for him, the (ex) boyfriend kept pushing Taejoo to keep confirming their relationship. He could feel the relationship straining so he was emotionally manipulating him to stay with him longer. It’s like trying to keep a sinking boat afloat. It was really mentally taxing for the both of them. That’s why I was really happy for Taejoo when he decided to end it once and for all. Even if by a stroke of luck, Taejoo found out the truth, the relationship would still be cut off on a bad note. Yoon really grew. From the beginning, he didn’t understand the weight of the time that passed for the two of them. But as the story progresses, he could see how it was destroying the both of them. They both still haven’t moved on from each other, but their relationship absolutely destroyed. But Yoon found his resolution, and they talked all the ambiguity out, finally “breaking up”. Then Taejoo giving a little space and time for himself at the end. This relationship ended harmoniously, and I’m really happy they finally moved on. In one way or another, this story shows how communication can really affect your relationship with others. All in all, the characters in this messed up circle are all damn sad. And also how can you magically wake up looking as pretty as Yoon sleeping for five. fucking. years.
Also I feel like mc is doing way more for the ml than he does for the mc, like it’s always the mc that has to bend over and reconcile with him. Ml should have actually apologize for once, it’s annoying how the problem between them finally got resolved by a dues ex machina
I still think that the father is an asshole… wtf was that cueball thing, the story has not redeemed him in the slightest as a good person…
Also many plot holes but who cares about those, I want a timeskip with the baby grown up (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
