I don't know what I think about making rebels from an oppressive government so villainous. actually, I'm just assuming that the government is oppressive because I honestly don't remember that part of the plot. but anyway, technically their actions are not wrong, discarding men when the operation becomes compromised, but it would be more realistic if the art showed the characters less villainous (that guy with the mustache seems to love making the decision so much). It's more of a standard and logical decision, although of course, it's possible to have moralistic discussions about what a rebel cause represents if it leaves its own people behind!
