So basically the four guys that are “chasing” juwon are only doing so because of a bet initiated by his first love. The barista did start catching feelings but only after juwon find out about the bet. Turns out delinquent boy had the hots for the barista so that’s why he was acting jelly whenever juwon and barista were together. His childhood friend’s feelings are actually genuine (but idk why he participated in the bet, I stopped reading after the plotwist). The first love is just a fucking dick.

The guys who stole the first transplant meant for Lewis. The mayors son with his gay love who also needed the transplants they used bribery to steal th transplant meant for Lewis.
Zane’s lover also died. His body rejected the transplant. Likely karma because Zane was also cheating on his lover as well.
