I think that completely depends on what meaning of cult you're going by. If you're going by the literal meaning, then yes, every religion is a cult. However, if you're going by the modernised meaning of the word cult, then probably not, as most of these 'cults' are really just pseudo religions made to scam people, which is not the case with the existing religions, since we can date back and figure out what exactly was the motive of it, and most of the time it's always about how to lead a good life :)

This is like, literally the kind of story I want in BL industry. Like there's an actual plot, with the main character driving the actual plot and having end goals, but another good thing about it is that it's gay. Like not like " oh this is gay so everything's gay romance romance ", like even if everyone's gay here and falling for the mc left and right, it doesn't feel like reading a story that pushes the romance in your face. It's like your average fantasy story, where except for straight love, it's mlm.
