Idk why I lowkey hated every second that I read this (it felt like torture to me) but I can't help but yearn for more

This is like, literally the kind of story I want in BL industry. Like there's an actual plot, with the main character driving the actual plot and having end goals, but another good thing about it is that it's gay. Like not like " oh this is gay so everything's gay romance romance ", like even if everyone's gay here and falling for the mc left and right, it doesn't feel like reading a story that pushes the romance in your face. It's like your average fantasy story, where except for straight love, it's mlm.
Personally, THATS the kinda mlm action story and representation I like
Like, the character being gay isn't their whole personality, just their sexual orientation, thats it
