I kinda like the emperor as the endgame instead, even though I know the blondie is the male lead. If only they resolve that one misunderstanding. I like his unconditional love for the female lead, but he's just way too dumb for me. Like, he sees the outcome of his actions towards her fiancé and still chooses to push through with his stupid plan, which clearly backfires and further puts the female lead in a difficult situation. And I agree that he's the type to neglect his children if the female lead ever dies.

There was already a spoiler that he's going to end up with someone. I like slow burn, but not to the point where it's dragged out, which I find common in ongoing manga that are adapted into live action or animation.

in the drama the guy had black short hair and he also had the story as the long haired guy where mc helped them "3 months ago" mc literally said "he looks like a girl..." in the drama you don't know how bad i cringed, the execution in the live action sucked so bad. if mc were to end up with someone i think I prefer it being his brothers friend

I've read this so many times, it's truly one of the best bl out there. Their relationship's so healthy, & I love that they're the polar opposite.
I really like how it ended, it wasn’t dragged out like other stories. I actually dropped it at chapter 89, but rereading it wasn’t a struggle. Most chapters added to the story, and I’m glad it didn’t include too many fillers or focus too much on the other couples. The little details mattered the most.
