Imma just say... after reading this chapter, all of the preconceived stuff I thought early on about this couple was just proved in more ways than one. I'll also open with people need to wake up and realize yes, these mangas are to allow us to escape from our day to day life but this isn't how a relationship should look. If you should want a person like Dojin or Hyesung, that is a whole a** red flag because they're both very toxic and have issues they need to work out. Stop fetishizing toxic behavior, it's not cute.

In the case of Dojin, he was lowkey terrifying like the way he was bitterly angry but all smiles was giving me Killing Stalking vibes in ways it should not have. I was kinda scared for Hyesung ngl. At the root of this toxic relationship, Dojin has a lot of mistrust in Hyesung. It seems felt like he couldn't keep Hyesung at his side before giving birth to Byul which is probably making Dojin feel the need to be controlling and possessive to some degree. But, let's not forget about the fact that Dojin really pushed himself on Hyesung when he was his most vulnerable which was wrong on so many levels because just because he wants to have sex (because of his heat), that doesn't mean take his form of consent when he's clearly not in his right mind. The other problem with him is he has a terrible sense of entitlement coming from a rich family because prior to Hyesung getting pregnant, he was trying to control him into staying and making Hyesung rely on himself which is manipulative to say the least. Going into the whole ABO thing, the whole bond between alphas and omegas could play a role because Dojin has always detested omegas prior to Hyesung and Hyesung being the first omega he's been with, he doesn't know how to act. But in no way does that excuse him sexually assaulting Hyesung but no one is gonna want to hear it but, again, this romanticization of toxic relationships has got to stop.

In the case of Hyesung, his actions really irritated me and ofc to some degree still do but Hyesung has been struggling his whole life emotionally/mentally which leads him to him have apparent commitment issues and problems with a sense of stability. I don't really blame Hyesung for the whole being into omega thing because we've all hit some sort of phase of self discovery at some point in our lives. He has basically been trying to figure himself out and has been doing so living an unstable life for so long and having no true guidance which is why he kinda rejects his whole omega status thing and the whole social construct surrounding it because he's seen as a "defect" to society not only being an omega but also doesn't come from a prominent background.

Side Note: Though in this chapter... what pisses me off the most is when Hyesung got mad at Dojin for bringing home an omega to his house when Hyesung was just staying there as a roommate or whatever as well as Dojin's past relationships like why r u bringing sh*t up that never bothered u before but all the sudden it does like what?! Just why bring that up when y'all were FWBs basically.

Hyesung also had to grow up quick and take on responsibility that was beyond him at that point as he barely had the means to do it for himself. Though Ik it all goes back to the nature of Hyesung's history and how Dojin is as a person but even after agreeing to marry Dojin and such, I feel like he's also gained a sense of entitlement to a certain degree of being treated like royalty because he knows he's got Dojin wrapped around his finger basically. I'm just not for that level of toying because two wrongs don't make a right.

In short, they both have issues they need to work out for themselves and their marriage and relationship is just painful to read because they're terrible communicators with levels of issues that make them toxic. They're the epitome of "children can help save relationships" because child or not, underneath the flaunting and mildly good parenting appearing, there is a world of issues they need to have sorted out.
