I had taken a break from Mo Dao Zu Shi entirely. I mean, i do cosplay of Wei Wuxian at cons and tiktok (spilling the beans but not the @ for privacy lol) i waited for several chapters of the manhua to read them all at once, stopped re reading the novel and paused the live action (i don't watch the donghua because personally i think is the most changed version in essence of wangxian feelings.), But u came back to read 15 chapters at once and I'm obsessed again! This is really my favorite love story. Not from BL like among all love stories I've read. Mainly because it has all the elements i look for in a romance story. And Mo Xiang Tong Xiu did such a good job in the way she developed this story. I absolutely love it.

But although this checks all the boxes for me, it's mainly because of the seme's dynamic and the funny and horny plot in general. But the uke is beyond socially awkward. Okay. I read it now. Why would you think someone hurt me? I'm not the one pressed by fiction. If anything i was pressed by people's reactions to these type of comments. Second, I needed to address this i think because a lot of people who commented similar things to me are getting some downvotes because they don't understand why we think this way about this story.
I just never been able to understand why some kids these days have so much trouble drawing the line between fiction and reality and the fact that everyone can make a comment positive or negative about a work and that does not mean hate.
That's why, everytime that someone comments in a "not praising/sucking up" way to the author, these kids downvote you. Do they really not know that you have no obligation to give 5 stars rates to all the works out there? And that does not mean hate. When you do it in a vicious way and are constant about the dislike to a work and have problems making real life distinctions with fictional works, THAT is hate.
