But I don't think the queen is all that strong
She's WAYYYYY stronger than the king, that's for sure, but the king is weak (besides choosing who the crown prince is)
Not belittling the queen, if ML and MC (also MCs brother [at his peak]) weren't around I would consider her strong, coz she is strong in her own way, but the other characters are just too OP that she kinda looks like a toddler playing in the sand
That butler really loves the ML huh, the story would be better if they just end up together (as lovers or friends wtv their love for each other is) and leave mc out of it
Also ewwwww I thought 2nd ml was a good choice, him lying to her about ml isn't too bad in my book coz she's not in her right mind rn and telling her he is looking would just send her back to him which would push her back into a toxic relationship, BUT u can just tell that 2ndML said that so he can have a shot at MC (probably), so ew
i am not sure if the second lead is lying, i think it might be in the past since it's basically first time asking him about how he found her and duke didn't put any notice for months or so bcs he was too proud to do that. so if it was immediately after she escaped then he might have told the truth

The victims and perpetrators responses (in my limited knowledge) are realistic, like someone said unfortunately stuff like this does happen, so I do like that about this manga, ESPECIALLY how in the end it shows the MC isn't actually happy, he's just hurt and learned how to mask better
I COULD be wrong and I could be over analysing/giving the author too much credit, but I actually don't think it was rushed at the end or that it took a sharp turn, I think the MC was in a VERY dark place and he got better but he was no where near healed. I think he really did just learn how to mask better (partly for his dad and a little for his friend), he's able to "function in society" now but u can tell at the end that he's consumed by guilt, convinced himself that he likes his abuser, and not actually happy
THAT SAID, AHHHHHHHHH I WISH IT DIDNT END LIKE THAT!!!!!! I really wanted MC to get better, I wanted MC and the step bro to never see each other again, I wanted the step bro to get the help that he needs and also be held accountable, wanted the best friend to grovel a bit more (MAYBE get with the MC), I WANTED THE MC TO BE HAPPY!!!!!!
sidenote: sorry mom character, I thought u knew what was going on so I STRONGLY disliked u, but now I see that she DIDNT actually know what was going on and actually tried to help when u found out, also LOVE how the author was like "helping ur friend is great and all, but sometimes ppl need professional help" (obvi this was a bad example, BUT STILL ADVICE IS STILL VAILD!!)
It was definitely a realistic situation (although generally rare). Usually it's just 'I'll cure you by loving you' or 'I can make up for my wrongs because I'm nice to you now' in BL. With this, the messy part is still there and not just 'magically gone' because he was saved or something.

no they had a date where fl was going to confess, ml saw his ex and ran off to her to cut off their relationship completely, didn't tell the fl anything so she still thinks him and the ex are a thing, ml realized his feelings but leaves two minutes after talking to fl (multiple times) so the fl has no idea what's going on
Obvi what he did/is doing is wrong, OBVIOUSLY!!! But as much as I hate the scene, it is realistic

Coz it is fiction and they are endgame it does feel dumb to include this as an author, I get wanting to be realistic and reflect on the real world, BUT THERE WERE SO MANY DIFF WAYS TO PROTRAY THAT!!!! The author could have easily made the ML overhear some of the instructors or trainees talk about how they would/hope to rape her in that situation and shown him shut that idea down (that way it shows what would actually happen in the real world but still gives the comfort of fiction where it DOESNT actually happen)
This scene was just DUMB and there's honestly no going back from that, u mean to tell me they're gonna get together after this?!?!?

i don't think so, the instructor got beat up cuz of what she said. so her at the end was more like, "damn, getting ML to act like that was easy" i think
