When characters are deemed a "strong FL" just coz they're a girl in a historical manhwa
Like girlie really isn't all that (not saying she's unqualified to be a MC or anything but in my eyes she is average at best), AND ITS OKAY TO NOT BE A STRONG FL, I LOVEEEE stories with weak FL (and/or MC) coz u can to see them grow, but here I don't see her growing (besides being slightly less naive)
[not that she has to grow, she do her, but it is slightly annoying that the other characters are like "she's so not like other girls", and it's like YES SHE IS, they just have low standards and she's a decent human being who swallows her emotions]

Obvi what ML did is wrong and no one (and no tragic backstory) is defending his actions, BUTTTTT let's be real, anyone put in his situation could EASILY behave and react the way he did. He didn't do bad things coz he's a bad person, he did them coz he was taught them (thro literal brainwashing and torture)
As for the FL, she's innocent, she didn't have a say in which family she was born into and she was also EXTREMELY sheltered so she had no way of knowing that ppl actually suffered or what suffering even meant, BUTTTTTT I do see why (fictional) ppl hate her (tho not deserved). She was their world's Marie Antoinette "let them eat cake" girlie who represented the toxicity of the ruling class, again undeserved hate, but I see the thought process
