His entire life/schooling is dependent on sports. It was established he wasn't the smartest student and only went to college because of it so maybe he's worried about that and having to drop out idk
Wouldn't it be so convenient to have a phone to call 119 in these situations or at least call someone near by to drive him to the hospital
(He didnt look TOO injured to drive so I think he'll be fine, plus plot armor, but still)
