I feel like corey and swan are the only two with the potential to become the ml, both make sense logically but my heart tells me to root for corey, he's just such an unproblematic and empathetic guy who also shares interests with shushu. some might call their dynamic boring but I've always preferred fluff over angst when it comes to endgames
ugh this episode is so good, im in no way a diana defender or sympathizer, but the way that she tries to brainwash herself into thinking that things will always work out for her without having to work for it and that she's a blameless saintess beloved by all, but literally cant do that when kael's mere existence disturbs that belief. hes living proof that she is NOT the blameless saintess who values all life because it was her actions that led kael to khs- its all just so good, id say her character is better written than most mc-turned-villainess characters. shes not completely rotten from the get-go, its just her stubbornness and her need to be loved drove her up a wall so far that she caused her own spiral and downfall
