I don’t really get why some people are upset... what I saw was a man who’s finally at the end of his rope, scared out of his mind that he’s fallen so in love with this kid all over again and now there’s someone who knows so much more about him than Takano does.
Does this make what he did right? Hell no but it did make Ritsu understand that the only thing that’s hurting them is his rejections and self denial, not the worries of what others would think or the mistakes of the past.
So I don’t see this as a step back but finally Takano losing all his composure in a desperate attempt to be closer to Ritsu. Yes, he went about it completely wrong but it was the right move in this case because it got Ritsu to finally realize where they are at and their feelings. That this isn’t high school anymore, but two people who are in still madly in love.
you are right people should have more patience, as sekaiichi hatsukoi is not a typical yaoi story were it has a real quick ending it is based on real life situations it is bound to take some time. Even though we want ritsu to confess to takano fast we are not realising how tough it is from ritsus point to confess, confessing is hard you get rejected or your feelings our mutual and the reason ritsu is afraid because he is worried that takano is going to use him again, soooo please keep patience everyone and lets hope the author gets the new chapter updated already.
and takano masamune is a troubled man he has never had a chance to give love or receive it since childhood his parents never loved him fully plus everyone only liked him for his looks, so when ritsu confessed to him in high school he realised someone genuinely loves him and does not want to let that person go, plus lets admit ritsu is a tsundere he will argue first and then go with the flow so it not rape guuyyyyss, IT IS NOT RAPE! the feeling is mutual the only thing left is to confess, please do not give the author a hard time !!!!!
Exactly! I didn’t think it was a rape scenario either if I’m being honest. If Ritsu really wanted to he could have fought more or yelled more and I’m sure Takano would have gotten the message and taken that as a 100% rejection. Which is one of the reasons why Ritsu probably didn’t actually fight back but tried to get Takano to listen to him, it’s because he loves him and doesn’t want Takano to misunderstand Ritsu and his friends relationship. They’re both pretty clumsy at this relationship thing, huh? But I guess that’s what’s so charming about the story. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
