I like the premise so I'll just take things as they are and be willfully blind to the sht that irks me lol. I really like nation building so even though the focus is more on the angst and romance, I'll still scarf it down. It's just kinda annoying how mc is supposed to be the King of the top empire but so far he's been at the mercy of the Grand Duke. I get that he's sorry that he abandoned them but c'mon now. And how did he even fall in love with him, he's so mean to him! Anyways, I hope we get to see him being badass. I know he's more of the support type of leader but I'll like mc more if he can stand on his own and not rely on his vassals. He's too damsel in distress like for me lmao
I know the story contains a lot of disturbing tropes, things that will get you side eyed if you utter it and judged when people know you read this kind of plot but I gotta admit it was all so hot. Character design is topnotch, the sex scenes are amazing and the execution is good. So good in fact that I didn't even bat an eye with the bestiality lol, in fact I liked that part the most. Jfc I didn't expect it to be so good but it truly is. It broadened my world lmaooooo.
I'm so glad he brought up the ml bottoming if he really wants to do it, but I guess that also answers my question of why a lot of stories don't do it that way, especially when the dillema is the top's collosal dick lmaooooo. So it's all just for the preference and aesthetic.
The note is fcking hilarious too! The author really had to put up a notice that it was all the MC's beliefs and not their own. I'm so happy mc is the way he is though, I love how chill he is with his desires. His character's core boils down to "why not?". And why not indeed? They both consented and is willing to do it so why not give in? Props for the ml for stopping when he didn't get an enthusiastic confirmation though, we gotta praise that sht cuz even if that's the most basic standard, it was so rare for an ml to actually uphold that.
I guess this means we're about to get some progress, experience bliss and euphoria and then the inevitable tragedy that will happen. Lemme erase my knowledge of the future so I can fully appreciate them together lol
As much as I like Song Taewon, he's still such a frustrating character. He's got the power and the intellect to be the head of the association and root out the rot permeating through the entire organization, but he won't. He can do such a good job but he fcking won't. Everyone is valid for calling him a dog cuz he really is acting like one. He's doing exactly what he's told and isn't willing to make a change. I hope the recent chapters become a motivation for him to finally bite at the hand holding his leash.
(Ugh, but based on the dubious novel translation I read, he'll fcking insist on being the same way and have to get tricked just so the association's rotten parts can be cut off. Props for being in character and stubborn as usual but fck, he really is so frustrating. Step up babe! Take the seat and hold the leash, no need to depend on the association when you yourself can use it to tie the s-classes.)
I actually feel bad for Adrian. Not because he was cursed to be sick and on the verge of dying, but because Hilda is so fcking unhinged lmaoooo. Somehow, her excuses and ways of getting out of trouble gets creepier and more disturbing. I know it's for comedy purposes but it's bordering on harrassment at this point. I understand why Adrian wants to poison her, I support him this time lol (≧∀≦)
I just wrecked havoc on my bed, squirming and wiggling and punching my pillow as they held hands AND KISSED AGAIN. Ugh, my heart can't take it (/TДT)/ I need to sleep but these two are making me way too excited. Mc is so deliciously bold and flirty. He looks so innocent and pure but so far, he's the one who's been initiating these intimate acts. My man Kwon is the one feeling shy and blushing, so adorable!
The comedy's kinda overpowering the horror aspect of this story. Hilda's such a goofy fellow, I'm embarrassed more than scared of the plot lol. I guess it's fun but I also really want more scenes where it's serious and wouldn't end with her shenanigans. I loved the chapter with mother, really got my heart racing.
The two pariahs. Both outsiders. Hated by the people who was supposed to love them. There's something about characters who was chosen by nobody, meeting each other and finding out that they're in the same situation that moves me. It's so good when they build a place of their own. At least, that's what I would like to happen with Penelope and Callisto. I really love found family ╥﹏╥ and I want it so bad for them to finally have it.
Admittedly, Callisto isn't someone kind, but honestly, neither is Penelope. Their experiences shaped who they are, and what they became were broken jagged glass sharp enough to cut. I want them to both to heal, I'm so invested for them to rise above their trials and get peace. Ugh, if only they can both get out of the game and set fire to that entire world.
That sht about eating alone hit me so bad damn it. Made me remember eating lunch alone in school cuz the people I usually eat with was with their boyfriends and the only reason we even do it together is because we're seatmates. Also, when I was living alone in college, fckkkk.
Heejae is doing so good wooing Seyoung. My man is affection starved, alone and so insecure he can't see his good points. I'm not nearly as bad as him but when I found my group of friends? I'm such a sucker I'd do anything to keep them, I love them so much. They made my heart so full. Just continue being with him Heejae, and I'm sure he'll eventually fold lol. Maybe tone down being a jerk for a bit and it'll happen faster. But what you're doing now? Definitely in the right direction.
I love how sunbae's just so fcking chill. He needs a reference for sex toys? Buy it himself and display it. He almost got kissed? Might as well go for it to know how it feels like. He even changed the character sheet of the top he's writing cuz his muse isn't the toxic red flag he thought he was. TALK ABOUT ONE OF MY WORST NIGHTMARES
Facing a crisis (there's a fire, earthquake, an invasion, or whatever fcking disaster) while I'm taking a shower/naked as the day I was born. Poor guy is currently experiencing it right now. Imagine someone trying to murder you, it's already fcking bad but somehow you have to do it when your only form of clothing is a towel, now everything's worse. I know it's not good for him right now but I'm just laughing here uncontrollably lol.
Also I'm glad the artist is having fun styling Bada's hair. He looks so good in everything!!!
Y'all I cried a fcking ton reading this. Didn't expect to get so emotional on something with such a simple plot but I guess, when such care and love was poured into making the characters, one can't help but sympathize. I kid you not I cried more than the people who actually experienced the story lmao. I was crying for Lyle for all the times he wasn't able to and making a mess when he finally let out his feelings.
When he thought it was raining, and his brother and father was flabbergasted that this person who hardly changes his expression let out tears, it made me fcking sob. That instance told me a lot of things about his character without even needing the details. Such good writing!!! It evoked so many reactions from me and the thing is, it didn't need to try hard to do so. It all did was make me care about Lyle. The rest will follow. Everything he experiences, I feel like I do to. So even though I've never fallen in love, the fact that he did and got heartbroken made me hurt too.
Seriously, I really have to care about a character before I get affected and attached with their story. I can like it well enough but I still feel like a spectator if I don't. The moment I care about their dreams, hopes and pain, I'm invested, anticipating the next chapter, sacrificing my sleep and no longer a spectator but a participant in their life. I seriously fcking love reading ╥﹏╥
Anyways, Lyle's character development also made me cry. You go live your best life!!! You deserve it

They complement each other so well. See, a good couple doesn't really have to be people of equal strength. It works as long as the other isn't a burden and the execution is good. We have this thing called character development after all. Elena truly was weak in all the ways that usually matter, but being kind is her strength. Remaining good in such a dark place needs guts imo. It's what made Sirius love her and what pushed her to do her best. Also, the only reason she seems so weak is because that place is filled with madmen. The moment she's out of that place, she shines so brilliantly and was fundamental in securing their safety. She used her powers efficiently and even managed to discover something new with it. I'm also glad she worked hard in not letting anyone knows she has it. He dad is crazy, imagine what he would do if he knows.
Reacting to things that hasn't happened yet, getting angry on your own assumptions and treating this story exactly like the others that traumatized you.
Lemme present to you the facts~
Mc ain't the ml's father. He ain't grooming him. He's even aware that Hyo-un isn't human and still treats him like a kid. He didn't take the proposal seriously cuz he doesn't see him as a potential romantic partner. Y'all keep talking about mc raising him but from what we've seen, Hyo-un is plenty independent. It's even implied that he's the one doing the work around the house, doing his best to show Taehyuk that he can take care of himself AND the person he likes. He's showing off, that's basically a form of courting, look at me I can provide for you ohmygod. Ml is the one holding the torch and I have a strong feeling he's the one who's gonna initiate the change of their relationship. You keep putting Hyo-un in the position of the victim when y'all know damn well he's a fcking dragon. He's got the advantage in everything. Since you all keep worrying about him let me be solo in my concern with Taehyuk then! Idk about y'all but it's actually more likely that he's the one who might be forced to accept a relationship. Their dynamics is skewed, it depends too much on Hyo-un's feelings, even in the future if y'all haven't noticed.Taehyuk can't properly say no and does things in a way that doesn't require direct confrontation, always compromising and giving in.
Enough of this, to everyone who actually won't be reactionary and takes the time to read then lemme recommend you something that might be misconstrued as raising the other once again but is so obviously isn't. "Paljae" is a fcking masterpiece that isn't smutty but delivers such delicious plot, angst and interesting characters. I sacrificed my sleep for this and it delivered such masterful depiction of meetings and partings and fate. If y'all know it, isn't it so fcking good ugh I can't wait for the next season!!!
