Even with these many chapters, it's frustrating there's no enough exposition about the world the character lived in.
Sure, this Heartless thing can be shrouded in mystery. But the level of it never explicitly mentioned and explained to us, the readers.
Idk if the novel also has this problem. And I know this is mostly drama-driven BL story. But at least, with this intriguing setting, commit to the world, the setting, please.
Some of the detail just muddy and that's damped the excitement, the enjoyment for the story.

yes. that and the goddamn ML/seme(prob) is soooooo fucking annoying.
i think the author was trying to make his one-minded obsessive and arrogant behavior comical or something - but he's just freaking annoying. i'd much rather he be some background character or even sub-love interest and the other group leader be the real love interest... sadly we gonna hafta keep dealing with his annoying BS...

I think the author wants the ML to come off like hes trying too hard to fit the MCs prince charming aesthetic. He knows the MC is the author and likes him. You can tell with his savior scheme hes trying to make himself look good for the MC but he sees the ML as the complete opposite amd instead projected the prince vibe onto the other boss.
Tldr: hes arrogant, and hard headed because he wants to be the MCs primce Charming but the MC only sees the devil
