When I was reading the novel, I didn’t mind this scene (him driving to see him instead of going to the hospital) but now since I can see it visually, it’s such a stupid thing to do? You’re worried that you’re gonna die and leave him alone but you choose to go to him instead of hospital where you can actually get TREATED AND BE ALIVE. Like wtf I’m pissed off how at myself cuz how tf I missed this stupidity

As Lucas said, if the eyes are only damaged on the surface and can be fixed by someone else donating it, why are they not trying to find someone who’s actually dead and use it?? They took Paula and was ready to get rid of her since no one would look for her and there is no problem with this logic but finding another dead person or using the eyes of the previous killed maid is a no no? He is a fricking Count and has the money and power to do it so I really don’t understand why he’s suffering so much. I get that the author was trying to put angst and make the story more tragic but logically I can’t wrap my head around the idea that Lucas has to die for him to gain his eyesight back when he can clearly just get a surgery. The house is bad enough to kill people they picked out from streets but not enough to use their eyes? I wish the author came up with something else other than this idea since made a big plot hole in the story and the tragedy feels really forced when read.
Like I can’t even feel sad that he’s going to die cuz I doesn’t make sense

I had the exact same thought but I was trying to wrap by head around it by thinking abt the context they’ve given us in the story. so all we know about this procedure is that it’s extremely new and has only been performed successfully one time. maybe that one successful operation was done with a donation from a living person, so that’s why they can’t just use a corpse, because they don’t know if it would be successful with their current technology. Still not sure why they couldn’t find a more “disposable” person, especially when they have the influence to shut people up

There is so many things happened but left unresolved till this point even tho she claims to love and be good at these thriller kinda things. And she’s been playing this game for the 44th time as well.
-she didn’t actually get rid of the her younger self ghost but marinesse did and she didn’t even question it and just accepted the reward.
-the three people who came back to life she was suspecting to be monsters and warned Cheswick didn’t appear at all and was left like that.
-she can’t contact to her guide and doesn’t even question the situation even tho she got told to be in touch.
-she just brushed off the weird jump on Cheswick’s likability and his obsession towards herself
she didn’t went back to the black door again to look clues about Amber and that case closed off without any explanation
I like the story but the the execution of the plot is all over the place and it’s quite bad atp

I’m done with this. Can’t read this crap anymore. I honestly thought he was gonna refuse for the first time but are we fucking surprised? No. It just keep getting worst and it’s not gonna get better anytime soon. I might read it after it’s complete but I’m done with waiting for 10 days for a chapter and read this kinda bullshit.
Im out. Bye
I’m confused was this the end now?
No. I think they're just labeling it wrong. I'm like 95% positive this is season 3
Well idk. It didn't sound like it ended but according to the notice that was posted after the end of season 2, these were called "special episodes". Except this sure as heck doesn't seem like special episodes. It seems like it's season 3
According to manga updates these are side stories and there is 13 chapters, followed by 2 Christmas chapters and than a "what if" side story
