no if you think abt it the manager is absolutely correct and also theres a huge double standard in how yohan’s feeling are treated vs jihyun’s. whenever yohan shows possessiveness or expects something from jihyun, everyone in the comments always says that he should know his place as sex friends and not violate that boundary (which i do agree with to some extent but thats not the point) but when jihyun shows possesiveness and wants something from yohan, tell me what all the comments are like “yes yohan go get your man!! tell everyone hes yours!!” which i just find weird especially since he was the one who set those boundaries in the first place and i feel that acting in that ambiguous way knowing that the other person has feelings for you, defining your relationship as one thing but wildly varying that with your behavior, is a bigger blunder than yohan acting like a boyfriend when hes not
I see what you mean with double standards but I guess the reason why ppl react differently is because yohan acts "out of place" (acting like a bf when he isn't) bc he wants more from jihyun since he cares about him, while when jihyun acts possessive is bc he's falling in love with yohan and battling with his feelings. What I mean is that yohan consciously decided to accept a situation (being fuck buddies) and then acts "against" it bc is in love, while jihyun finds himself in a certain situation (being unable to form a meaningful connection bc of trauma) and him acting "against" it is a sign that his feelings are getting deeper. On one side is yohan pining and expecting more from what jihyun told him he could give him, on the other is jihyun getting at the same level as yohan by starting to want things that are tipical of a relationship. Yohan's justification for his "bad" behavior is that he's in love (understandable), but when Jihyun acts in a "bad" way (being possessive in this case) is actually a sign of the fact that he's starting to feel the same as Yohan... so he made a mistake and behaved in a very childish way, but I would say it's bc he doesn't understand that his own feelings are changing. Yohan KNEW he was doing something out of place bc jihyun told him "we are not bfs" and yet he crossed the line, while jihyun is not acting ambiguous with YOHAN (he didn't tell him one thing and did another) but rather with HIMSELF (told himself he didn't want more but now he does). Yohan's action impacted Jihyun DIRECTLY, but Jihyun didn't make a scene at the bar or anything like that. Yohan didn't even notice him. Jihyun had a wrong mindset, but it isn't like he actively did something to yohan that would confuse him since his jealous moment was in his thoughts. Sure he went to the bar in a disguise, but what did he do to yohan directly? At most, what jihyun did was drunkly rant to a friend (his boss) about it. And I would say that, hearing what the guy said about him to yohan, his protectiveness/possessiveness was half being jealous (and in the wrong, since he has no reason to be) and half knowing that the guy isn't a good person and not wanting yohan near him.
I really loved this chapter bc jihyun was doing smth wrong and he totally deserved to be called out!! and the boss did such a good job at pointing it out. Jihyun was also super quick to understand, he didn't deny it but actually said "wait u r right". I totally get what you mean but I also kinda disagree bc: 1) as I explained, I feel like their reasons and situations are very different; 2) i actually see tons of comments accusing jihyun for everything and forgiving yohan simply bc "he's in love"... like I love both of them, but in my point of view ppl are way more quick to accuse jihyun rather than yohan, instead of the opposite like u said
