As much as I hate Chowon I’m kinda worried about him cuz I’m sure the author won’t bother w him when they throw him away after everything goes back to normal. Ergo he’ll stay mentally ill and sad
I think that depends on whether or not an outside party appears. Chowon could be seeing someone who indulges his obsessiveness who will sweep in at the end of the day to save Chowon. And maybe even let Chowon realize that what Chowon feels for Dojun isn’t love but dependence and possessiveness. But this is all just my wishful thinking.

Just finished the second episode, and I wanna tell you guys LOWER YOUR HOPES ABOUT THE SINGING STARTING FROM NOW. You won’t be impressed.
Tbh most voice actors can sing pretty well that’s why I’m hoping he sounds better with the full band. Right now he sounds...meh. And I’m sure they casted a voice actor who can sing and fits the role lol, assuming the author must’ve been there too to help select who would get the role, otherwise what would be the point of animating Given with the main character as a singer in a band.
Too sad they didn't stick to the drama CD voice actors. Saito Soma has a good voice. The only voice actor I liked in the anime was Uchida Yuuma, a professional singer and Uenoyama's V.A.

Mafuyu’s singing voice is supposed to sound on and off. It wasn’t TERRIBLE as i’ve seen people over exaggerate about...it’s soft.
He’s not a professional vocalist. His voice isn’t trained.
He’s just a normal precious guy singing a song from the top of his head.
and then Uenoyama happened to see potential in him so he asked to join the band.
Think back to when Mafuyu couldn’t play the guitar because it needed fixed and had to learn as he wasn’t good. Same will happen with his voice. It’s all about witnessing the growth of Mafuyu and his progress along the way.
Also if you listen to that scene and the ending you’ll notice a difference.
He sounds much better, in control of his voice. So him singing for the first time in episode 2 is the start of something.
Mafuyus voice hasnt been trained so of course he isnt going to sound like a god right off the bat, it like expecting him to know how to play a song on the guitar but only teaching him the fingerings and not the cords (not sure if that makes sense but it does to be lmao) he has to learn how to utalize his voice because what he does is pure untrained talent.
A singer has to progress because not one damn singer has sung beautifully without training.
Its also important to understand that the way mafuyus voice grows and becomes more refined is important to the viewers of the show. People WANT to see his growth as a singer, they want to see his growth as a person, and without that mafuyu and his stuggles loose a meaning in a way.
Mafuyu is kinda like Hinata from Haikyuu. Extreme raw talent but untrained so he is still going by his instincts. It's only when he actually starts learning that his growth is exponential
