I know illegal websites are wrong, but most of my all time favorite manga are available in japanese only and would never be popular enough for translation to english. Only illegal translators make it possible for that. That's all...

Yeah I have shelves full of manga and I also borrow from the library and I have done so my whole life. Plus I have lezhin/webtoon/coolmic accounts and support creators on Patreon. Also, if I find a manga/webtoon I really love, I'll buy the raw to support the creator. If the work had never been illegally translated, I never would have become that creator's fan or purchased their work. Just sayin. I get that most illegal readers don't do that and don't care though.
